Call me an old romantic but I don't think that for a Valentines present, one can beat slippers in the shape of Hippopotamus feet. My wife is left speechless when she unwraps hers, often so overcome that she can't speak to me for days. The ability to pick wonderful romantic presents is a cross I must bear.
