It looks completely fine on your wrist, in fact one could argue that it looks great because it wears like a modern sporty watch on your wrist.

The 5 digit Sub is undersized by today's standards, even with watch sizes trending down. On your wrist, it doesn't look undersized at all. It doesn't look comical either.

You are overthinking this. Thankfully, you went 5 digit not 6 digit.

Opened thread thinking the watch would no doubt overpower a 6" wrist

Surprised to see it looks good on wrist. Are you sure wrist is 6" ?

I always say it's not just wrist that counts. How tall and weight factor into overall aesthetic

Thanks for your response. Very helpful. I've gone down the ceramic route already and they are all gone. I've come to realize my wrist can't handle the new ones, which is a shame for me as they are such amazing watches.

Thanks again.

Hello. Good to hear. Yes I just remeasured and it's exactly 6 inch. I will say it is a little flat and bony rather than round and circular though.

Thanks for your thoughts

Don’t feel bad for not liking the 116610; many of us prefer the 5 series over the 6

It would be much appreciated if I could get some feedback on your thoughts on the size.

Possible future substitutes could be 36 explorer 114270 or preC daytona 116520.

Many thanks in advance.

I have 6 inch wrists and mine hangs looser than yours does. What’s the secret did you adjust the bracelet at all?

I didn’t open any of your pics but it’s definitely too big for you.

Quit taking advice and form your own opinion. If you feel good about the watch when you look at it, that's all that matters.

I have small wrists as well. I remember when I went from a DayDate 36mm to the Daytona 40mm. It took me a little while to get use to it, but I did. I recently bought the 41 Sub and I love it. I have never had someone say, that looks too big for your wrist. However, I have had several nice comments about the watch.

Bottom line, you will get comfortable with the size and never look back.
