Depends on the insurance value. TL30x6 can be insured on the contents for up to to ~$500,000 with security alarms. TRTL even more.

If you do not have a lot of high value inside the vault, then buying an insurance policy is cheaper in the long run. You can only wear one watch at a time.

My own experience - buy a lot more safe then you think you need. You would be amazed how quickly it fills up.

And even when you have a safe place an apple air tag in it. Can track it if it starts moving

^^^ This makes the most sense in choosing a safe.

A lot of the other advice is about security (which isn’t a bad thing).

Yes I have been into retail outlets and that's good advice but I want to feel that I can participate in the conversation and not just be sold what they suggest. Two sources suggested quite different solutions but now based on some of these suggestions I can at least challenge them on what they offer.

Yes, the security around the property is very good but as a last line of defence the safe seems to be the next logical step.

I've seen that channel. Quite scary what the guy can do.

Everything that will be stored in there is insured so it's really to slow down opportunistic thieves. It also lowers insurance premiums and as long as insurance company approve of the standard of safe, they will hopefully pick up the tab if things go wrong.

That's a good idea. I saw a video where a guy mailed an air tag to a scammer and called law enforcement.
