Calatrava 2481

I had been looking for a yellow good dress watch with a silver dial. About a month ago I located a 1956 2481 that immediately spoke to me. I purchased the watch the day I found it and I've been very pleased.

I believe I now have a photo sized correctly to post.

These are very difficult to find in this condition. Many time you lose the steps in the lugs do to polishing. You also have my favorite dial configuration. It's the KING of Calatrava's. Enjoy in good health!

Thank you for the comments. From what I've learned, the dial and hands are original and in very good shape. If the case had been polished, it appears to have been lightly. The acrylic is also very clean.

Any hint it will need a service?

I purchased the watch locally at Tarrytown Jewelers who I've done business with for years, and where the watch was recently serviced. It winds smoothly and keeps very good time.

The watch came with the Archive only. From what I understand, the nice think about sending the watch to Patek for service is the document you receive back from them.
