Would this make any sense?

Hey All,

I have a 2008 36MM Datejust, blue dial with a smooth domed bezel. Would it make any sense to trade/sell for the same exact watch (36MM blue dial/domed bezel), but a jubilee bracelet?

Thanks!

Just get a jubilee bracelet for it, swap it on, and you're good to go.

If you are an enthusiast, then the things we do don't have to make sense.

If you can do close to an even trade unless the new watch is in much better condition.

Thanks all.

SaddleSC's response makes the most sense - if I only had that kind of disposable income.

I'm not sure where I can find a Jubilee bracelet. I haven't been able to locate one, and I don't believe Rolex sells them separately anymore.

Incidentally, this watch is mint and unpolished. It's been babied.

If you are done with the oyster bracelet you may be able to sell it as well and break almost even price wise. Probably a couple hundred more for jubilee.

Just try to do a trade, perhaps with one of the trusted resellers here.

I would have no problem buying a jubilee, if I could find one for sale.

Have you asked an AD? I’ve purchased several bracelets through an AD.

Find a used Rolex one online or just get a bracelet from Uncle Seiko (now UncleStraps). Many say they’re made as good or better than the Rolex ones.

Buy another DJ36, that is fluted bezel, and jubilee bracelet.

Have two nice looking DJ36 and the swap the bracelet whenever you want a different look to match with fluted bezel or smooth bezel.

There are a couple of trusted sellers on the site who sell clasps and bracelets. Althouhg more expensive than RRP from an AD, it seems they can source them pretty easily.

You can order a jubilee bracelet from a Rolex AD or RSC

Would a new DD36 Jubilee fit my 2008 DD36?

Man, this place is dangerous!
