Most ADs will not authenticate. They don’t want the liability knowing the best replicas out there may fool them.

The dial on my Lady Datejust has the coronets on both sides of the words "Swiss Made" at the 6:00 position, indicating that it was manufactured in 2021, so I consider it to be a "recent one." The ONLY times that the date has changed precisely at midnight is when I have manually advanced the time. On its own, the date changes at various times, usually between two and three minutes past midnight. This morning it changed at 1 minute 49 seconds past midnight. There have been a couple of times when the date didn't change until more than 5 minutes past midnight (but before 6 minutes).

And, yes, I know that my watch is genuine Rolex, as it was purchased from an AD and came "with box and papers."

Have to agree with you. Some people should just continue posting their worthless thoughts on forums like Reddit

I'm sure your watch is authentic, the date change mechanism is fast enough in your case as most counterfeit watches take much longer time sometimes hours like in ETA movements for the date to change.

I should have clarfied that in normal operation the date would take few minutes to fully change.

Incorrect. Although it does change instantly.

Well thanks for ‘profiling’ me and doing your diligence.

Perhaps you could tell us more about the phenomenon that is… ‘left-wrist to left-hand collisions’? Haha…

Just read the thread in it’s entirety next time.

Not necessarily. The old Rolex Oysterquartz's tick ! As Swearengen said in post # 52.

All Rolex's tick. Some faster than others.

I’m surprised you didn’t read the entire thread which contained my subsequent follow-up…

It was facetious response to a likely troll.

If you read the entire 18 month old thread you won’t find an answer.

But if you wish to really know, ship them into the nearest Rolex Service Center. Ask for a service quote.

They will let you know if any part or the entire watch is not authentic.

I’d do this one watch at a time, not all 3 at once.
