Rolex Date change (how long after midnight)

I have noticed for a few years now that when I am up and catch myself @ midnight I check my Rolex to see how long after or before midnight the date changes. I am catching a pattern of @ 7 minutes after midnight on most. What are your experiences. And no it doesn't bother me and no I won't try and have it "fixed" as I don't see this as abnormal. And yes it happens with both the ones bought from my AD and the ones bought from a trusted GM dealer. (none from A.F.) either. Just wondering what yours is doing. For me it doesn't matter as I am just happy to be wearing a Rolex. Again just a inquiry not a complaint or a check for fault. Thanks and enjoy each and every one that you have..and many more...

The most important thing is that it changes when you wake up next morning. And you can see its changed now thats far more important, its proves you are still alive to enjoy your wearing watch.

Rolex Date change (how long after midnight)

There was another thread about this not too long ago.

My DJ41 changes approximately 5 minutes after midnight (maybe it’s 7, not really sure, but it’s in that ballpark).

My Seamaster Diver 300m changes about 5 mins before.

I never worried about it. I thought this was normal before reading anything on these forums.

Have no idea when my 226570 changes. I'm usually asleep when it happens.

My sub changes at about 4 minutes after the hour. And unlike my other watches, it is instantaneous!

That’s the automatic date change module! Snappy and… well… just beautiful! Gotta love that metallic “ping”
