Dallas service center did mine. Personally I don’t think the super jubilee will look as good on the smaller 5 digit case. Just my opinion.

LOVE this and starting to get swayed. Looks great! Does it "feel" good? I like to know my watch is there if that makes sense. I don't want something too lightweight...

Planning to go with - sending to Dallas RSC, no bracelet. Hope for the 62510H with no questions re: oyster trade in. Fingers crossed. Oh and I did put a WTB post up hoping for something to pop up. I'll update thread as things happen.

I’ve had both the 63600 and the 62510H for my 16710, and I much prefer the 62510H. It is much lighter and has more natural flex for daily wear. The 63600 is not adjustable — the can purchase a 1.25 link extension, but if you can’t size it correctly you are just sort of out of luck. It’s also much stiffer and heavier for daily wear.

You misread. They want him to pay the price of the Jubilee and give them his Oyster. The $150-200 would be the "trade in value" of his Oyster lol.

I would just take your watch to an AD and have them order the period correct jubilee for your watch - it’s simple and no fuss (and it’s what I did). As some others have said, not sure the super jubilee is worth it.

Actually it's quite confusing -- but they want me to either 1) give them the oyster and $1150 for the 62510h (63600 not an option through RSC it turned out)... so a trade plus $1150 to get the jubilee. Or 2) keep my oyster and get the 62510h jubilee but pay an extra $200-$300 for that. Basically for neighborhood of $1400 I can get the 62510h and keep my oyster. That's how I'll go if the watch makes the trip to RSC . Whew, this seems more confusing than they have to make it!

That's what I did as well. The AD verified the serial #, ordered the jubilee bracelet, & sold it to me for $1150.00 without the requirement to trade in the Oyster bracelet. Turnaround was just a couple of weeks.

I did try this first -- AD tried to order bracelet (checked on both options for me) and then told me, that Rolex told them they had to send the watch in for me - they did say they could get me the 63600 at that time, which was incorrect. Either way it meant sending the watch in. If it was as simple as ordering it at the AD (I hoped this) I'd have done that for sure.

The trade-in aspect throws me off sometimes; it seems to vary depending on who and when you ask. I've been told that if a part isn't getting traded in (downgrading dial, customer wishes to keep the component, or it's missing entirely), we're supposed to charge 40% more for that component. I have also been told that it doesn't apply to steel bracelets - customers can just request those back with no additional charge.

That's a shame you're made to jump thru hoops like this instead of the AD doing the ground work. Hopefully you'll find it worth the effort and RSC surprises you by not charging the non trade-in fee. Good luck!

You never can tell when something will work out JUST right but this story has a happy ending for me. I added a WTB post for both the 62510 and the 63600 before I made the final call to send my watch head to RSC -- had a couple people reach out but one came through big -- fair price on a lightly worn 63600 (which was my first choice at very beginning) and it arrived today. Installed tonight and WOW! Absolutely love it -- the opinions were 50/50 and I can see both ways but I can't go wrong here. Also, I still have the original oyster and will go back and forth when I wish. Again, thanks to everyone for the input, we all learned a little bit too .

Oh, wrist shots...

Side note -- if someone offered me a brand new GMT Pepsi for my 16710 (sales value aside) I'd turn it down. I know others would do the same. No doubter for me.
