While the Submariner was my first Rolex I prefer a BLRO and would vote it the best Rolex model.
I stand with Stan on that call!

When I had a 14060M, it was the best Rolex ever.

Now I have a 126710BLRO and that is the best Rolex ever.

I used to have 16610, 116610, 116613, 16613, 116503, 116713.. and those were the best Rolex ever too.

The 114060 was my 1st ever Rolex.
Bought it new from AD for £5k in 2015.
It still looks like new and has never missed a beat! It's bulletproof! And still makes me proud when I wear it

Seems like you posted the wrong picture, certainly you meant a 116600:

Have to agree that the 2-liner is the quintessential 14060.

Yes.

My 14060m remains a sentimental favorite but it has been surpassed by newer favorites. If there wasn’t the possibility of newer favorites we wouldn’t be collectors. Its the nature of addiction after all, to repeat or exceed the rush of the last hit.

Actually, Yes yes I do agree.

Lugholes are what sets it apart from modern.

Mine is a G serial (for Gus :) )

But then again, as I always say, the answer is always the sub.

It's a keeper for sure, but might not necessarily be the best Rolex ever.

Nahhh I had 14060m but when you get the new one and check back is like a rattler.
Everything is too small, diameter, size of lume, clasp…

No way

Romantic maybe
