Rolex Production from 70's to 80's

Does anyone know about how many watches Rolex produced annually in the 70's and 80's?

Not sure.

Random thought though. I’m thinking serial numbers were more sequential back then. So judging from the range charts I’m assuming. Around progressively from around 250k per year in the 70s to around 500k a year through the 80s.

Again this is all based on my assumption from serial numbers that may be completely off base.
