I'm of the firm belief that Rolex doesn't need to release groundbreaking variations every year. I think some of what was released this year is very unnecessary: yellow gold Deepsea. I think it is good that Rolex released a more "basic" GMT-Master II, but I wish they just used an all black bezel. I think the black and grey bicolor scheme is too subtle to really accomplish the whole point of quickly distinguishing day from night hours. I think the watch would have been better served with white text, red GMT hand, and solid black bezel similar to the configuration of the 16710 rather than "anniversary" 116710LN. The GMT line does feel bloated now, but it's nice to have a "black" schemed GMT that can "compete" the Submariner for those wanting a low key professional model.

I think getting rid of the Yacht-Master II was a good move, but remain suprised the Milgauss was not brought back. Overall, I think Rolex needs to streamline its offerings more. I think the place to start is to stop making professional models that are traditionally only offered in steel in precious metal and two tone, but that's just my two cents.

Any of the new ombre dials. Really like the black on rose and green on yellow gold. Will see what the grey prices sit at before deciding

So many of the new 36 DDs are really nice…..just not nice for my wallet.

I also like the new GMT.

Definitely the new SS GMT 126710BRNR.

The fact so many people are upset or underwhelmed with this GMT release is cool with me. Been hoping for this color combo to release so I can finally stash my 116710LN away and hopefully get one of these as a new daily. Can't complain on the color combo, I was in it for a newer movement, better power reserve, and option for true jubilee that my LN lacked.

So as long as I can try through an AD with success and not settle for grey market pricing, this should hopefully be my next watch.

If I was in the market for another watch I would be looking at the new Tudor gmt.
Like others have said the white dial speedy is the release of the year.

Like the BRNR, but already have the other 3 ss GMT’s. How many does one need. Besides a number of other models.

Of the new Rolex releases, the only one which captures my attention is the 1908 Platinum with ice blue dial. Although, I honestly think if I wanted Plat...I'd go with a DD36 Plat Ice Blue instead.

For the GMT GRNR...I think I'd have to try it on and see it in person. It might hit, or might fall flat given the monotone aspects.

The rest of the releases were ho hum.

The only references I had interest in were the LeMans and Platona. None of the new releases this year tugs at me in any way shape or form. With the LeMans now discontinued, I guess no new Rolex for me for a while.

Agree it’s the most interesting new Rolex, but not something I’d personally want. I do like the Tudor Pepsi GMT. It has a cool retro vibe, and it’s only 11 mm thick. I would wear that.

I’ve been pining for a YG DSSD for a long time. Got the YG YM2 to fill that want but it wasn’t quite what I wanted. Now just need to find one.

Daydate 40 with ombre dial. I have a modest collection of sports models and don't even own a tie. I'm not sure when or where I can wear it, but it is a must have as a Rolex lover.

The new GMT could be an addition. The all-black ceramic version was my first 6 digit purchase, and I thought it was just a wonderful watch. Sadly, I let it go when the BLNR and Pepsi entered the line up.

I had actually toyed with the idea of buying one back, but I've been itching for a jubilee, so I had my sights set on a BLNR, but yesterday's announcement has made me take a step back and think. So...I guess we'll see.

None of the new Rolex intrigue me. The new Tudor GMT only 39mm turned me off. Love 42mm watches.

I like the 1908....but if you look at the competition in that space, it does not stand out...Patek, Vacheron, H Moser and so forth..
