Congrats? Looks like you’re at an AD so I’m assuming this is an incoming!

Lovely!!

I think the new "126" in two tone is objectively more attractive than the previous version (debatable in steel/ceramic).

I'm saving for a white dial to tone!

I think the OP is referring to the fact the watch is not showing the word "DAYTONA" above the 6 o'clock register?

Good catch. That probably makes its value higher due to the error! Pretty neat!

Never seen that before!

I know some complain about too much text on the dial, but the missing DAYTONA looks very strange.

Risk would be that that isn't an OEM dial. The watch doesn't look brand new (I see scratches on the center links)--is it?

Just verified in Rolex Service Center today , the dial is original and they offered me to change a new dial with ‘DAYTONA’ for free

I would still change the dial. In the future nobody will believe this is correct and this makes your watch with a story and a difficult sell if ever needed.

Regardless, enjoy your Daytona

I wouldn’t change the dial, you have the provenance as proof, it’s like the famed APH dial, the one I need a microscope to notice the APH separation .. lovely watch btw ..

I agree. Dont change the dial. It makes your watch very unique and also might make it worth more in value!

Most likely they won't, but did you ask if you can keep the original dial if they replace it? The fact that they are offering a free replacement suggests to me that they want it out of circulation as an error dial.

It sounds like he has documentation from RSC supporting this is a legit dial and offering to swap. Assuming so, I think he’d be crazy to swap and lose that unique dial

lol, I’d actually be more inclined to pay a premium for this than the APH.

Not trying to be contrary, but I’m not seeing where RSC is confirming it’s a Rolex dial. What am I missing?
