Tom Brady roast and The watch

Not sure if this was covered but who watched the TB roast? Funniest thing I’ve watched in years! He had an interesting piece on and is a known lover of watches. Looked to be an AP of some sort. Anyone know

i think it's ugly and tacky as hell. given his insane collection, he seems like an actual watch guy and could've done something cool here so it's a bit disappointing

Tom is on record saying if he were asked to do it again, he wouldn’t.

Something about roasting the mother of his kids didn’t go down well with the kids. Big surprise there….

That was my take as well; take all that crap off the dial and just let the flying tourbillon be the star!

The roast was great IMO

For me I don’t know why anyone would want to put themselves forward for such a thing.
As for the watch I like it

Although funny at times, it was also cringe worthy at other times. Don't know exactly what Tom was thinking and I can really see how his ex would not like how she was treated.

All that said, Nikki and the podcaster, (don't know his name but he went towards the end) were the funniest of the lot. Sorry to not have seen it prior to NetFlix cutting out the booing of Kim Kardasian. Everything under the sun was fair game but people booing her? Weak.

Nikki was hysterical. That’s the hardest I’ve laughed in a long time. Kevin Hart was fantastic as well. Lots of wrist candy. TB was great as well but this is not for the easily offended. Rodney Harrison had a beautiful YG skydweller on!

Yea it was ok to leave in Gronk’s drunken rambling and the repeated shots at Aaron Hernandez’s suicide, but the live audience expressing their opinions of Kim K is a bridge too far?

I’m with ya

I don't think much of the watch. Sometimes stars get a pass for choices and taste. I could have done much better for a one off watch but then again, I am no star. I think Brady is a little thin skinned and should just laugh and go on with it.

That watch will go well with his collection ivory back scratchers.

Over all the years of the Friar’s Club and the innumerable roasts, no one ever goes twice.

It made a post here, so the AP sponsorship is working.

The roast was great, could have done without Kim and Affleck. All the players did great, although Randy Moss was a bit stiff. I thought Breese and Manning were great, Edelman and Gronk did well too.

As for the watch, it's pretty douchey IMO.

It was an embarrassing train wreck!! A collection of foul mouthed, degenerate athletes, comics, celebs and "pod-casters" all trying out do each other to get Tom and each other in a disgusting classless vulgar banal manner that was beneath Tom and kind of sick really?!?

AND I WATCHED EVERY FREAKIN SECOND OF IT AND I MAY WATCH IT AGAIN!! IT WAS A CAR-CRASH I COULD NOT TURN AWAY FROM!!!

He must be a sucker for abuse.

Not sure why anyone would subject themselves to that.

It's good fun in a locker room or beers after a game but on national TV?????

^This. Why would he set himself up? He’s never going to look good at EOD, imo.

Very nice show. Reminds me of the weekly roasts we would do in highschool with the mates.
