Do not buy Tudor if your in uk wait for sale

In the UK here all the tudors are getting reduced. Nobody wants them look at this

https://www.bucherer.com/uk/en/watch...309-949-7.html

Bucherer are trying to get rid of them make sure you look for sales first. Imagine if this ever happened to rolex would be amazing

Looks like some good savings to be had but will we ever see that with Rolex? I don’t think so especially if they put the prices up again

I like a particular Tudor and needless to say it's not on the reduced list. This will be worth keeping an eye on.

There’s been more and more Tudors go on sale over here. Started with the Royal and 1926 last year. Will move onto most of the sports models eventually.

I think Tudor will suffer a bit now less people are buying them to ‘get on the list’ for a Rolex.

Not a great look for Bucherer tho, now that Rolex owns them…

Online only?

Would they honor the sales price in store? And what kind of discount could be had on a Tudor watch in the UK?

Store locations with phone numbers are on the website so an enquiry to a store would be easy to make.

Discounts on some Tudors are possible. Depends on the model, AD and customer. I haven't previously seen discounts as big as those offered by Bucherer but I haven't extensively researched it. The only serious discussion I've had with a Tudor retailer about a particular model resulted in no discount. I still bought the watch.

Why do you care since nobody wants them?

Every time I’ve seen a sale from WoS group it’s been in store and online too.

Depending on the model I’ve got up to 30% discount on Tudors by paying in full. Even managed to get 5% off my BB58 a couple of years back when they were ‘hot’

I’ve always thought Tudor is like buying a BMW with an M-tec body kit and spoiler and thinking you’re in a proper M3.

Newcastle upon Tyne in UK is my city and the new Tudor/Omega/Breitling boutiques that have opened are always empty and very off putting for the passer by. Not surprised at the big sales reductions on these models.

Customers are opportunistic right now. By and large, if it is not on sale, they are not buying. The reasons are obvious. Zero sign of things improving. More sales to come.

I’ve seen Rolex price reductions even recently. Back in 2021 I bought my wife a DJ 36 jubilee bracelet diamond bezel with the mother of pearl dial I purchased in January for a Feb birthday and in March the price dropped by several thousand dollars. Didn’t really matter to me as there wasn’t anything i could do about it but I was a little miffed about it.

Life is short, buy the watch.

Including the ‘creamsicle’ Planet Ocean. Surprised at that.

Although Tudor has some good release however in 2020, it was overly hyped and still is by some. It is an ok brand. However, paying full retail price like Rolex when similar (Longines) or better brands are usually sold at a discount is an overkill.

Might be able to use those prices to negotiate a better deal on one you do want, thinking of using this route on a harrods BB not sure how well it will work but can't hurt to try.

If Bucherer knock 30% (ish) off either of the two Omega watches I would like to own, or the one Tudor I fancy, I'll be banging on my AD's door. They are usually pretty good at price matching. They gave me good discounts on both the Omegas I've bought from them but not as high as 30%....yet.

Too bad you can’t get refunded the VAT from an in store purchase as a US resident. From what I hear you have to have the item shipped which essentially exchanges the VAT for import fees and shipping. That would be a heck of deal to get another 20% off.

I'll take a 54 at a discount... but then again, I'd rather pick up a minty one from the secondary market. Prices are surely to start falling soon-ish, in a similar manner to what's happened with the 58 lineup.

Guess you don't know much about Tudor, they're all old models, nothing odd going on, just shifting old stock. The 41s were updated this year, the smileys are really old.

Just so noone else wastes their time…

Those are the models on sale. 2nd generation BB divers, ETA black bay in 41 & 32, and misc obscure discontinued models.

And most of the models on sale are actually just "discounted" to their early MSRP lol.

If you click on several of the ‘more desirable’ models as well such as the GMT, it says ‘This Item Is Currently Not Available’ so they probably only had 1 or 2 that they wanted to sell off.

Saying that the BB41 on the leather strap is quite tempting, I used to have the Blue one and still miss it.
