rolex numbers, sticks, roman numerals

How are the numbers, sticks, and roman numerals attached to the dial of a rolex? Glued? Hinge?

Maybe not, sorry, I don't know. Could be Elmer's glue?

Not sure but some recently posted a front and back photo of a dial and it looked like they have tiny studs that get set and ground off... but I could be wrong because I've only seen that one photo.

Actually that is an interesting question. Maybe some of our experts can chime in......I'd love to know as well.

I`ve seen a few dials... The white gold daytona with arabic numerals have studs going through the dial, while the ss black dial markers seems to be glued as the back of the dial is smooth.
