Omega Apollo 11 & Vancouver 2010
Even though I have only ever bought Rolex from my AD they offered me both the Vancouver 2010 (125 out of 2010) and Apollo 11 limited edition.
Are these really sought after in Omega circles? The box on the Apollo 11 is quite nice. |

I don't know the answer to your question, but the Apollo 11 LE is a really cool watch. A Speedy never hurts in any collection.

Yeah, even so with time things can change for the better. So even if they were not that big now there are always some who love them. Does not hurt either for watch that have limited numbers world wide. To me as a Canadian it would be even more cool to have that 2010 limited edition. The moon landing anniversary model too is something nice that i'm sure folks out there will like.

Unless you really like the red and white combo, Id pass on the Vancouver and go for the Speedy....though you do live in Vancouver, and thats just cool on its own. You would probably be in a position to flip it for a profit right before and during the Olympics in 2010....but not a day after the Olympics is over, the demand would have subsided.
Best of luck to you! And thats pretty cool that you AD is calling you. Very professional.

IN my opinion the Vancouver is a fugly watch, it just looks cheap. The speedy that they have had in the window(brinkhous I am guessing) is stunning though and I would have that in a heartbeat!
I know you have a thing for platinum and they do an even more limited all platinum version of the same watch!!! |

I agree the Vancouver 2010 watch is kind of ugly. I liked the Beijing 2008 better.
Platinum would be most interesting, but trying to track down 1 of 69 could be troublesome! Thanks for your opinions. |

It's alwas nice to get a deal..........
But, Omega makes so many LE's that it's hard to say which ones are truly special or not...............
