No more Rolex' for me or my wife, just getting to expensive, especially if they have another price increase, which they will. Getting hard to justify the price, not that I ever could. Omega is getting pricy too, but still with a lot of people's budget. Omega Aqua Terra will probably be my next new watch.

Yep, just closed on some one for my wife and for me. Probably spent too much and will hear about it, but I just couldn't help myself. I'll post some picks on Xmas day once they get opened up.

Reached an agreement with a local collector/resaler at the dining room table yesterday evening. Will closed in early January after the Holiday. Bought her a LNIB TT DJ 179173 with Gold tapestry dial and myself a LNIB Explorer II 16570 Black Dial. This is a combined Xmas and 30th aniversary so we will celebrate!!She doesn't know yet!!

Nope. She already has 3 and has told me in no uncertain terms that I'm not to spend any more money on *&^%%$#@ Rolex watches for her.

Apparently diamond pendants are ok, though.

Women, go figure.........

Yeap. Bought the wife a Lady President 178138 with the champagne dial. She has been encouraging me when I bought my sports so I figured it was her time now.

Yes, a 36mm DJ with the WG bezel, and factory black MOP/Diamond dial... Looks large on her small wrist, but all her other watches are large, so nothing new there... Will post wristshots soon!

Thanks, my friend!

Yep - that's the one! It is such a beauty in person... Men's watch, but the dial is very feminine, while not 'frilly'.

Bought myself a TT YM. I wanted to get my wife one but she does not like mechanical watches. So, she dropped $1600 on a woman's Tag in quartz. I cringed but what could I do?

My wife bought me a Omega Speedmaster 3570.50 this year. Last year it was a GMT II, both keepers for life. If you have not looked closely at this watch, you need to. I just might like it more than the handfuls of Rolex watches I have owned over the years, time will tell but first impressions make it hard to beat.
