'90 SS Sub - First Problem
Cleaned 5 years ago, nothing replaced.
Watch works, keeps time, can wind it (although it's a bit stiff), can change the date, but, can NOT set the time either forwards or backwards. Winding mechanism just clicks and hands jump slightly... Any ideas? Taking it in to the shop today - want to know what to expect.... |

Sounds like a gear train fell off the tracks. Clearly something is not catching. Good luck on the service.
Where are you taking it? BTW, welcome to TRF, Moose. Glad you found our friendly fun house. Stick around and keep us posted on what you find.
