Looking for a picture of deep sea watch

I remember seeing a picture of a deep sea diving Rolex. If I remember correctly, it was from the 1940s or so. It was meant for very deep diving. I don't think it was a production model. Seems like the crystal was 3/4 inch thick. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Does anyone have a picture?

I think your talking about the AD that featured Lloyd Bridges.

Yeah, the Deep Sea Special. One was strapped to the outside of the Treiste.
Went down something like 11,000 meters or so.




It's a bear getting under a shirt cuff! LOL!
