SS Sub no-date
Hello all,
I'm still excited after purchasing my first Rolex last week. I'm confused over the difference between the 14060 and the 14060M? I know they have different movements, is one better than the other? Not quite sure which one I have. Thanks for the info. Mark |

The "M' is the newer model with a slightly updated movement. Check this site to your serial number to determine yours. Around 1999/2000 rolex made the update.

Hi Mark,
Not a lot of differences between the two except the M does have the later movement. To you and I it means not a great deal. The earlier model had the cal.3030 and as said before it was replaced in 2001 by the cal.3130. The 14060 began life in 1995. To determine your watch model you can check your paperwork. It will be on the warranty papers and on a green "swimpruf" hang tag.If you bought it new and recentley,I would say it would the M. If you didn't buy it new you can remove the bracelet and the model number (reference number)will be on one end (12 oclock) and the serial number on the other.(6 oclock) A picture of a D series Sub date.Reference number and of course the 14060m, Aaron |

Hello, Mark and welcome to TRF. Glad you found our little hideaway. Stick around and join the fun here.
Can't help you with the ND Sub. Not to my preference. I love date functions (among a lot of others). The ND is much too simple for me. But if you like it, that's what counts. And I will say, it's a beautiful looking watch in the pics.

Big difference is the movement. This will splain all.
