The Rolex Blue face Submariner 18k/SS 16613 is what started it all for me about 10 years ago. It is my grail, I still dont have it. When I first started contemplating getting it, it was about $5,000 new, now it is about $10,000!

Anyway, now I have my eyes on the New Style 116613. When it all comes together for me, you guys will be the first to know. In the meantime, I'll be learning as much as I can.

BTW, how does one create a signature? I dont see the option in my Control Panel. Is it because I'm too new?

Welcom DSLAM. I'm liking the 16613 more and more...got the itch myself for one. LOL
Signature rules are in the sticky notes (http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=73984).. to qualify for a signature you need to have at least 15 post and 15 days membership on the forum.

In Vegas,I put my bluesy(2005) against the new ceramic one and the old style is by far better looking!

Yeah I'm sure it was a controversial decision. Are there any good detailed photo comparisons online? Or is it something you just have to see in person?

Sure a used one is certainly a good idea, not ruling that out at all. I need to learn more about the used grading process.

IMHO,you should see it in person,colors are different and the new one is slightly bigger.
I bought mine pre-loved from a TRF member and so far so good!
Oh,and in Jamaica they are about 2500 less!
