Furthermore? Why announce your impending departure? I did something similar when I ran away from home at 12 years old. "I'm running away Dad!" I announced. His response was, "Let me get the door, your arms are full."

It taught me a valuable lesson. Running away is for cowards, and never lay down a threat you cannot back up, or follow through on.

I took a beating within my first week here, put on my big boy pants, and stayed. Will I ever be part of the "Inner Circle?" Probably not, but I dont care. I learn a lot here, and have met some decent folks with a similar passion. Has everyone been nice and inviting? Hardly. But THATS LIFE.

I would suggest David or "Safetrends" come back here, apologize for acting like a petulant child, and stay. He has something to offer this place, just as we all do. Some of us are knowlegeable in photography, some guitars, some automobiles. But we ALL love Rolex watches.

I have seen so many people threaten to leave watch forums over the years. Usually they come back. I'm really glad that you have decided to leave. This is first and foremost a watch forum.

Well, I damn sure am not going to beg anyone to stay, if they want to leave then I wish them the best of luck. My thoughts are if you can't take it then don't dish it out. In life we run into all kinds of people and in life we just can't turn and run and say you don't want to play anymore because things don't go your way. I looked at the offending thread and for someone to leave because he misidentified a few watches on eBay is a crying shame. Give me a break, I like David but I don't know him form Adam, and really my life here on TRF won't be affected one iota because of his departure. Would I prefer we all just lived in harmony? Sure, but then again if he has these problems here on a forum then I'm sure he has the same ones in the non-virtual world as well. Maybe he needs time off and get his crap in one sock. My 2 cents anyway.
