Anyone mount their bike on a wall?

I just moved into an apartment in Chicago and needless to say there isn't a lot of space.

I have a pretty expensive road bike that I want to wall mount in my office instead of keeping it locked up in the storage unit. This is one of the first things that came up on Google. Anyone do anything similar and have pics??

We have one like the one linked below. Works great, and takes up little space.

I use hooks, and the bikes hang from the garage ceiling. Works great and keeps the bikes out of the way.

I would do hooks too.

Those mounts can get pricey.

I've seen some mounts that just lean against the wall, usaully hold two bikes. I haven't tried one but I would bet they are pretty secure. And you don't have to drill into the wall, some apartments are crazy about anything bigger than a pin hole. Check out jensonusa.com, they have pretty legit stuff at good prices. That's what I would go with if I were you.

try at chainreactioncycles.com. I always buy stuff for my bikes from those guys. Huge choice of everything bicycle.
If it's just a hook you need then go cheap, but we all know the feeling of nothing but the best for our pricey babies....

I think the delta looks like a good set up. I just saw them at Mountain Equipment Coop today as a matter of fact. Think I may pick one up.

I concur. We have several hooks in the garage hanging bikes...inexpensive and work very well.

Any one the ones mentioned above you can also find at Performancebike and nashbar. All I have found to work well, it all depends on the space you have available
