I've been seduced by the "dark side"...and I'm here to stay. (modem burner)
Hey hey-
I've been 'lurking' here in the Panerai section of TRF, slowly getting more and more enticed by the brand, it's history and wonderfully built watches. Today, I thought I'd post pics of my 'new' (to me) acquisition... Here are some pics...please, PLEASE excuse my photography... Let me know what you think! p1.jpg p2.jpg p3.jpg p4.jpg p5.jpg p6.jpg p7.jpg p8.jpg p9.jpg p10.jpg p11.jpg

Nice 104. Congrats. Photos are good, just keep the sun out of the background and your exporsure will turn out better.

Congrats Marc! The 104 is a great piece. Wears well and is versatile. I too have mine on a brown croc and love it on that at the moment.

Hi "Marc in the middle" !
Congratulations on a "hansome 104"! ....and don't you just love the total transformation to the watch with the change of the strap!! The main difference is in the case diameter: 104 is 44mm brushed or polished steel and 048 is 40mm brushed steel. I am the proud owner of a PAM 048 (day 2!!) now...and can absolutely appreciate your question since i spent a few hours last week on several sites trying to figure out the differences between the various models... Great pics!... immediately noticed the resemblance to my 48 (my AD kindly included the rubber strap in the purchase as a gift)... Enjoy the black beauty!!! Marijke |

Thanks for that very kind post, compliment and the succinct answer... to my question! I really like your 48, and I honestly find myself changing the strap quite often! Sad to say...since the acquisition of my 104, none of my other watches have gotten much wrist time... Enjoy your 48, it looks AMAZING on you! and in case you didn't find out yet...buying straps becomes a rather expensive 'hobby'! Welcome to the forums, too!
