Two new Vintage Fountain Pens!!

1. 1950s Parker Duofold (English make. Button-filler).

2. 1920s Mabie Todd Swan (English make. BCHR. Lever-filler).

Currently restoring both of them. Photographs to follow.

Shahan, those pens sound really neat and I'm sure you will get a lot of pleasure using them once you are done with restoring them!!!

1950s Parker Duofold (English-made button-filler).
1920s Mabie Todd Swan (English-made lever-filler).

Strangely, the Duofold, even though it was the more modern of the two, was the harder one to repair! It took me an hour to get it apart, ten minutes to get out the old sac, four or five attempts (at least!) to seat the nib and feed back into the section correctly and then another two attempts to get the inkflow right (which is working fine, now).

But it was all worth it. Ain't they cute?

Thanks Leonard.

On that level...I'm in the process of making another pen-chest, after my original one started overflowing. I'm repurposing an antique cutlery chest (which is too damaged to serve its original purpose) into a pen-box.
