Icon2 Doubt

i have heard so many things concerning the posibe damage that changing the date between 8:00 pm and 1:00 am could cause to the watch that i want to know if that rule applies for the older watches or it includes the newer ones also.

I know of no Rolex watches made since the 1950s that would have this problem.

Maybe those made before or just after WWII, but I have not owned any that old.

Does anybody have any reference that would show a Rolex from any era with this problem?
