AD Pricing for PAM Daylights
Buddy of mine is in the market for a 251. His first Panerai! I've purchased all of my watches pre-owned, b/c I'm always looking for the cheapest price possible. He's more inclined to buy from an AD, which I can totally understand. To assist in his negotiations, what should I tell him he can expect to pay for this watch from an AD? Any other AD negotiating tips?
Also, other than the 251 and the older 188, are there any other white face Daylight options? Also, if you were to get a white face Daylight, which one would you purchase and why? Thanks, BCD |

Swing for 20% discount, in the end you'll get closer to 15% off.

I've had both the 188 and the 251. The 188 is a true white dial, the 251 has a slight cream/ivory tint. The 188 is from abour 4-5 years back, while the 251 is more recent.
Main difference other than OE strap color (which can be easily changed) which is black on the 188 and brown w/white stitch on the 251, is that on the 188, the bezel is polished with a brushed case, while the 251 has a brushed bezel and brushed case. It is for that reason I prefer the 251 over the 188.

There is as well a 49 and a 51 but I am not sure if the still make these but many of them on the 2nds market. But for an accurate list showing all current models and whether they are black or white face, consult this list: http://www.paneristi.com/reference/s...ase/index.html
