I've never had anyone ask me one question about my Rolex who wasn't a WIS. I've caught people looking at it, but the only people who have asked me about it were watch store clerks when I've pulled it off to try something on.

Same here, only once on a short trip to Turkey,a chap wanted to try my
real one on instead of his fake. But he preferred his fake because it was
heavier,so there you go a heavy fake, is better that a lighter genuine
watch to the Turks.

I have had very few comments, but if someone I know wanted to try on my watch, I see no harm. With the Pannies I get people all the time that want to put it on to see how big they look on the wrist.

No one has ever asked me about my watches. In fact, hardly anyone ever speaks to me at all.

I guess most ppl are to busy back stabbing here in the DC area to be concerned with what others are wearing for a watch.. Although I find myself looking over at the guy next to me as I'm on my evening commute home to see what he has on his wrist. Here I find many people wear suits and the sleeves cover the watch area so, it's like "Area 51" LoL

My sister in law did that to me this past Fri night. We were sitting around with my wife's family and her grandmother and aunt from out of town and she said "What kind of watch is that you're wearing, it's beautiful?"In her oh so pleasant voice. Mind you all she can see at this time is the clasp. I said "It's just a Submariner." She then said can i see it? So I rolled my wrist around so she could see it. SHe then said OOOHH it's a Rolex it's beautiful and takes her hans and rubs it over my watch. I ignore it and my wife asked her if she's never sen it before because I wear it ALL OF THE TIME. She said no. I know she has, but she waited until the room was full to bring attention to it. If I want to draw attention to my watch, I'll wear it in my ear. I can't stand that. Sorry for the rant guys.
