I was seen all the positive feedback from the thread below about the performance of Cape Cod Cloth for scratches and shiny purpose, but is there any negative experiences for share? Because I want to order one before it happen, thanks!

Cape cod cloths, and Sunshine polishing cloths remove small amounts of metal, and leave the surface shiny. The only things to remember are

Don't do it too often

Don't polish the satin finish unless you want it missing

Be careful if any of your watches have an AR coating on the sapphire. You can damage that coating.

Everything else is just polishing metal

Forgot...Be careful around the metal bezel inserts.

Tape it off if your going to be close to a sensitive area

Both true. Be careful and skillfull, and you'll have a great polish. Be careless and you'll regret it.

When done right, it truly does wonders.

I would only use it every now and then.

Just a thorough cleaning once a week should be standard, and then every year or two polish lightly.

I have used it 2-3 times on my Daytona... the result is great. I dont use it often though in fear of thinning out the metal over time.

The cloths have an oily residue, so they are a bit messy. I like to wear latex gloves and +1 on the masking. Other than that, they seem to work well and a great for intermittent use.
