After a long hard day at work, I was finally home ate dinner
and ran to my chiar to get logged on and wham...
No TRF. So, time to search and find out, was it the site or
what could I have said? Maybe they pushed the wrong
ban button?? Then, found out it was the site and then
found the doomsday prophets spewing the reasons why
TRF was unavailable. All I can say is, it is good to be here!
Thanks for bringing us back from the dead!

I thought someone hacked my screen name and offended the mods using my identity. So glad it wasn't about me.

Well we didn't go off the air for very long, it was only about 1/2 a day really.

I'm surprised that so many people found themselves thinking that their account had been suspended, but I guess the same thought crossed my own mind when I saw the home page load and tell me that "This account has been suspended."

Anyway, I can safely say we do not ordinarily just shut people out like that, unless there is good reason to do so and usually the person will be well aware that they have transgressed (at least in the eyes of the moderators).

The forum is in a very stable situation, it is not in peril of going away anytime soon, no matter what anyone says. Rumors are without substance, I can assure you from the highest level that we are going to be here for as long as the internet operates, and that means after I am long gone (which I hope is a long way off too).

So it did cross your mind that you might have accidentally suspended yourself??

Like everybody else, I initially thought I'd been banned for some unspecified transgression, so phew!

Thanks again to Steve and Scott for keeping us happy - life is sorrier without this place. Long may it continue, despite the "best" efforts of the malicious.
