Feeling good......

Every once in a while something comes along that really cranks me up. Tonight was one of those, I caught a re-run of one of my favourite movies. Sidney Poitier in "To Sir, With Love", with Lulu belting out the title song.

1966 - that was a great film. I was still in College when I saw that one....brings back fine memories.

Heck I had just barely moved to America at that time. I don't think I have seen it to date. My favorite "oldies":

Yes got to agree with you remember seeing that with the wife back in the later 60s and that song still sends the shivers down my back.A great film that put Sidney Poitier up as one of the really great actors of those days. And Lulu herself was quite a little belter in those long past days now.

Interesting that you should mention that movie and the song, Al. Last week, I was in a Barbecue restaurant, and "To Sir, With Love" with Lulu singing, came on the Musak box. In a BARBECUE JOINT!!!! I said to my colleagues at the table, "Wow! I haven't heard that song in decades. That's Lulu singing ""To Sir, With Love", and they said, "WHO?????"

Thanks for the flashback, Al!
