Rolex marketing? For women?

Lets think about this before we respond...

Sex appeal sells.

Rolex has deep marketing pockets....IKA why have Daytona's appeared on prime femm's...?

Truthfully - Rolex has responded in design and approach to the female clientel.

Come on before you pass on this thread....you know that more women are wearing Rolex. My wife is. So is yours.

What are their opinions on Rolex's design and direction? Again and not unusual - leave them as they are - at least one watch company need not conform....

My wife loves her Datejust. She is small wristed so it's imposible to make a 40MM watch work on her wrist. Last night we looked at a vintage Tudor midsized 36MM sub. It has the classic sub look and also has folded links so it will be fairly easy to size.

IMO, Rolex does not construct their full sized watches femme freindly, in that none of mine can be worn by my wife without destroying a band or putting it on a strap.

My wife has been wearing her Sub (14060M) daily for the last 5 years. She just loves it, while her smaller B&M sits in the case. What she really appreciates is she can cook, garden, exercise, do whatever with the Sub, and it still looks really great on her when she dresses up (ok so I am biased).

It was the picture of Sharon Stone, a few years back, with her Sub that really did it. As well, the woman who owns our AD, and who has a lot of choice as to watches, wears a Sub 16610.

Cheers......

My wife has a small wrist and is not a flamboyant person so the only model that she would consider would be the ladies' watches but she doesn't want anything that runs down if not worn for a while so no Rolex for her until they make a lady's quartz.

Rolex ads should target women

Everyone knows sex sells! It's a mantra in the advetising industry. Apparently Rolex caught on! Check this recent Rolex ad out! Women should be flocking to the brand in droves!
