Have to agree that the Milgauss GV positively glows with it's " Kryptonite " crystal when artistically photographed ( many examples here and elsewhere on web ) .
In real life though I find the green coloring to impart a " fog -like " haze to viewing the dial .

As mentioned, you can make almost any watch look quite good with the right lighting, angle and picture style. Most important, no flash.

For example, this looks like crap:

And here's a better angle:

Some are more tricky to photograph than others, but these often look a little better on photos than in real life:

And you may not believe it, but my dayjob is in fact supermodelling

All in all, anything can look better IRL than on a bad photo - and vice versa.

Jocke's pics of the SS Platy are much more impressive than the actual watch, IMO.

Don't forget kyle L.

Sometimes a photograph can distort or diminish some aspect of a watch such that when I look at the real thing, I'm disappointed, like when a good-looking watch turns out to be 55mm in diameter, but I have found that most watches look better when seen in person than they do in photographs, even when the photographs themselves are breathtaking.

Vintage Photo's

I love the simplicity of a couple of my low-end vintage watches. They try harder when up against the big boys!

Beautiful watches, Michael, and not really particularly low-end in my opinion.

At this time of year, could the 'haze' be alcohol induced?

Some great pics on here guys.

IMO the most photogenic watch has to be the PL YM, never seen a bad pic yet, it always looks great irrespective of photographic skills

[QUOTE=GradyPhilpott;2245885]Is that a fly's eye view?

The thing is a little kid's toy. Forgot what it is call.
Look through it from one side and snap it with a camera.
Here is another fun pic.
