Authentic Tudor Sub?

I'm betting this is a fake or a Frankenwatch at best, but I'm curious as to how the real experts here see it.

It was posted on another forum, where the owner is seeking advice on its history.

There seems to be no doubt in his mind as to the authenticity.

What say ye?

At best, it's a franken with the snowflake hands added. What's up with the endlink at the 5 o'clock lug?

The hands and dial do not match up and also the hands do not appear to be authentic Tudor (fake) IMHO.

grady, you are a bit too nice. its a tudor with an incorrect dial and set of hands. he's admitting this in the description. its a mix of correct and incorrect parts... so its a mess. he would do better with it if he just put the correct dial/hands back in the watch if its still possible. H

It's not that I'm too nice, it's that I was too lazy to read the post fully.

I'll correct that forthwith.

Thanks for setting me straight.
