Tudor Chronograph on Italian Rubber

The latest combo featuring Italian rubber w/ vanilla scent and nice quality 18mm brushed deployant clasp w/ push button release and polished safety latch [and no clasp rattle!].
This double sided strap can be used with the sporty crisscross pattern [shown] or the minimalist flat side. Thick and substantial, yet pliable and forgiving like a rubber strap should.
The little details make a big difference: I love how the brushed/ polished finishes on the clasp match the Tudor end pieces.

Thanks, Gus!
Not sure about why there is a vanilla scent but heard it might have something to do with the production process of rubber vs silicon. I have another rubber strap from Corvus with the same scent. It's not overpowering, so no worries.

That strap is a perfect reflection of the no nonsense look of the Tudor chrono. Techie, but not overdone....

Great choice...it enhances the best attributes of the watch!

Its the "wide ranging variety," "colors," and "textures" that make your strap collection, dynamic and so much fun to see ! Luvit !

Cool Strap, how is the comfort with a rubber strap? I've always been skeptical about rubber with these gorilla arms I've got...

Hi Dan! Definitely not a fan of rubber myself but what you have done here is one hell of a piece of complimenting a watch with EXACTLY what it needs! About this 79170 I am not going to say anything. Would just spoil its near perfection.

About the pictures, though...well...how do you do that?! Yours are always among the finest, most accurately taken, best lit, no nonsense photos around!

You should start a class on photographing a time-piece. Seriously.

Thanks for this one and keep up the good work!

Jon, I had an Oris w/ rubber strap and just never warmed up to it for some reason. Don't think I sized it up right. Then bought a Corvus 1 piece rubber strap and loved how it wore. Bought a silicon rally strap for this chrono and loved it too.
Your watch tends to stay in position on your wrist, completely waterproof, and has a little "give" that makes it comfortable.

Thanks for the kind words. My camera is just a Panasonic DMC-TZ1 point and shoot. I shoot in an area with lots of ambient lighting, adjust angles to restrict glare, and then delete about 99% of the unusable shots.
Occasionally, I'll use a tripod but most are shot w/out.

Thank you for the insight! With the right lighting, there is nothing a little point and shooter will not do, these days, huh? Would have definitely thought of a more high end camera with some special lens for macros but hey, we are here to learn something every day.

Your real art is just keeping the eye away from those bad mama glares out there. And let me tell you, this is not anywhere close to easy, especially when it comes to non anti-glare treated crystals, such as the one on this baby right here.

Hats off to you, man!

Great look Dan, the endlinks really help the overall appearance of any strap you put on that baby. I've thought of picking up a SWC band with the endlinks just to have that capability but the price is a little dear.

Thanks, gents!

Buz, you are spot on. The end links make all the difference. These are a relatively rare feature, found only on some Tudor chronos and precious metal Rolex watches sporting leather straps.
