Feb 2011 - Euro trip report with Panerai & other content > > > >

Feb 1, 2011 and I'm back on the road (again!!!!) :-)

At YUL......................

Waiting in the Lounge:

I was starting to get worried about the weather:

A close-up of the snow on our plane.............I guess we're going to stop by the "de-icing" station!

Finally pushing back from the gate!

Landed in Frankfurt and have to change terminals:

Anyone here familiar with the Blue Tunnel???!! LOL

Flight delayed so time for an early morning snack:

Saw this in a local newspaper, only in China!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first stop on arriving in Geneva (after my hotel check-in) was the Panerai Boutique.

Once there, a local Panerai collector, Guillaume, recognized me and we took a few photos:

He was picking up his 419 GVA Boutique Edition. here it is next my 360:

Me and Guillaume :-)

It's always great to try on the PAM 307 Luminor 1950 Pangaea Submersible Depth Gauge, love this watch!!!!

You may remember a group photo from my December visit with the Panerai team, but Bénédicte was not at the store at that time.

Happily, she was there during this visit and I had the chance for a photo:

Guillaume took the photo but I asked for another just a little closer, LOL!!

Les Ambassadors is still in a temporary location, but I visited anyway and was warmly greeting by Kevin!

He proceeded to show me some watches ;-)

Vulcain GMT:

Bovet:

Jump Hour!!

Blancpain with Blue dial and sapphire bezel:

A very special UN Diavolo Freak!!!!!!!!!!!!

An ultra-rare UN Moonstruck!!!!!!!

I love IWC but closer attention as to be paid to QC ;-)

I was invited to a local hockey game between the host team, Genève-Servette Hockey Club, and the visiting team, HC Fribourg-Gotteron!

Nothing like the NHL, but a fun evening!

The team mascot............a beautiful eagle!

Thanks for looking and stay tuned for more watches!!

Have a great day!
