I much prefer the turn on the new model...silky smooth and far more sophisticated...(which it is)... Ease of turning is not something that I am aware off as a problem.

It's a quirk on this model. It cannot be adjusted/tightened. I took my Sub-C to RSC NYC and had them look at it. They told me the bezel was working the way it's designed and there was no possible adjustment to make it tighter. Oh, well.

I've had the same issue but don't sweat it. It's the price one pays for such a smooth (did I say smooth) bezel. Wear it and just move it back like I do. Cheers!

It's to do with a new mechanism (mounted on ball bearings I think) that Rolex uses on all the new ceramic diving models. In fact, the Deepsea's bezel is even easier to turn that the Sub C's.
Quite true quite a few reports on a few diving forums say the same not good in a divers watch.

sometimes i have to make a whole turn to align the pearl against the 12 O'Clock marker.
Why has the pearl got to line up permanently with the 12 O'Clock position mine used to line up wherever it was last used. And as 90% of all divers watches bought today never see any water other than perhaps a dip in the pool,it should not be a issue.Only to those who perhaps have a fixation that the pearl must line up to within a cats whisker of the 12 O'Clock position.

Just got my SubC yesterday so maybe I'm a bit premature on this issue but the bezel on my watch is nice and snug. I will admit that it certainly turns easier than my old 16613 which was really tight. So far though I haven't noticed any slippage.

Thanks again everyone for the good information. I thought it was an issue that others had also been experiencing. I will monitor it more and if the bezel continues to keep turning even more, I will have to return it for servicing. Thanks much everyone!

Yep, same here.

I find rotating the bezel on the 116610LN is harder but feels smoother and more solid than that of the 16610. I also prefer the more positive 'click' whilst turning the bezel on the newer version.

However, the SubC bezel seems to turn on it's own pretty much every day which hardly ever happens with the 16610.

Not a problem, perhaps just a slight annoyance.

LOL! It's the aesthetic of the two triangles lining up I think. If they don't I personally have a bad day!

Is there an absence of a click spring in the new ceramic models? They're quite easy to tighten up on the old ones, you just bend it in either direction for more/less resistance.
