Love the look of the new 5
I traded in my '08 530i a few months back and don't regret it. It was a nice car but the location of the drivers side interior door handle made it dig into my knee. Just make sure that you pay attention to the interior comfort of the car as mine severely lacked in that area.

i almost bought the new 550xi with the v8, very nice ride, drives more like a cadillac but decided on this instead as i wanted something more agressive to replace my 08 m3

having a friend own the previous model loving them, i think this model looks spectacular, they are great cars. THOUGH! i would never buy one... well simply because i believe you buy yourself a 3 series or a 7 series, if you want the presidential luxurious ride(thats me) i would buy the new 7, in a heartbeat. If your looking for something that looks sexy, (the m3 coupe) nimble and fast i would buy the 3... i feel that 5 series is rather an all rounder car, but it just doesn't do it for me... don't get me wrong great cars!

Here a couple of pictures of my 550 (twin turbo 410 HP) all wheel drive with the M sport package. I have had many nice cars, several mercedes, porsche 911's, Lexus and this is the nicest car I have ever had. The 5 is the ideal size, the 7 is too big to be sporty, the 3 is too cramped to put anyone in the back seat.

Besides Los Angeles and Germany, come to Greenville SC if you want to see the latest and greatest BMW's. All SUV's for North America are made here and the Z3/4 are/were made here?

The new 5 is incredible. 33 mpg on the highway. Blows the new crappy E350 out of the water.

I've looked at the current M3 sedan and it's nice but I wouldn't buy one. The new 3 will be out in about a year, and then the new M3 probably a year after that (about 2.5 years away from now) so I would have to wait a long time. I want something now!
