Icon10 Back to the one and only ROLEX SUB!!!!

Wells guys and girls I tried, a few days ago I posted a thread saying I just purchased a pre-loved speedie as a everyday watch because funds are tight.

While this still being true I just couldn't handle not having a sub on my wrist, I am ruined forever. I tried on a preowned yachtmaster and some DJ's but the submariner has stolen my wrist forever.

I visited one of the local stores that sells pre-loved Rolexes and what can I say

I bought a M5xxxxx Sunmariner with aftermarket silver dial, they had the factory dial as well. I never thought I would like a aftermarket dial but dam it looks good When I need a change I will go back to OEM dial

Aftermarket or not, that's a great looking dial.

I completely understand. It's either a GMTII or a Sub that will be on my wrist for as long as I can see. I have ZERO desire to wear anything else.

Enjoy.

Nice pick up! Love that dial. Looks great on the stainless sub. If you get tired of it you can always switch back to original. But for now I'd rock that custom dial!

No. The rest is just fluff and there to cause confusion.

The Submariner is quite possibly the perfect watch! Congrats on the pickup!

Whoa, dude! You've been through about 4-5 different watches these past few months (Sub-C, 14060, 16800, Speedy, others?) stating money's tight! If time is money, stick with one watch rather than changing your mind every few days!!!

I've done the same thing myself!

Congrats and glad you've found one that speaks to you! How long are you gonna keep it?

I'm not a big fan of "bling" on men's watches, but I must say that I really like what that dial did for your Submariner. Very nice!

I do love the sub as well. Sometimes, though, I got to wear my two-tone DJ. Just something about the classy elegant look over the sportier watch. I just get in the mood for the elegance of the DJ
