What a great way to drink 15 pints of lager!! Great company, some equisite timepieces, fabulous location, perfect weather and a great big sodding hangover. Life doesnt get much better.

A big thank you to Dan for sorting the GTG, I hope everyone gets home in one piece and Dalip and the 2 Chris's dont get barred from Harrods for smelling like a brewery

Dalips pics will be uploaded this evening when he get back to his laptop. should be some good ones to look forward to.

Off to bed to recharge my batteries.

Well what a day that was! Fantastic venue, fantastic watches and of course absolutely fantastic people! My head is just starting to clear now. A huge thanks to Dan for organising the GTG and it was great meeting so many likeminded people.
It'll be great to see Dalip's pictures when they get uploaded. I hope the Harrods trip went ok, and safe journeys home to everyone.
Cant wait for the next one!

It's a shame everyone couldn't stay for this afternoon's festivities - we went to the new Time2 Rolex boutique near Harrods. We had a very warm welcome (although the security guard kept a very close eye on us the whole time - I blame Dalip! ), and there were some big surprises in store. Firstly, they had the new Basel models in, albeit without movements, which we all had the chance to try on. The new Explorer II is nothing short of sublime, the size is perfect, and looks incredible. The YM II in steel and rose looks far, far better in the flesh, whilst the ceramic Daytona is very pretty indeed. They also had a selection from a private collection with some very interesting vintage pieces, including a perfect red 1680 and the precursor to the original Turn-O-Graph. Unbelievable! Topped off with a meal at the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to with four of the nicest guys you could possibly meet (Dalip, Thomas, Leo and Chris), it was the perfect end to an incredible GTG.

On the train home now feeling a bit worse for wear, but with a big smile on my face. To everyone who attended the GTG, it was a pleasure meeting you and talking to you, and I sincerely hope to see all of you again very soon!

Sounds like an awesome time Chris.
