New Toy

Got this yesterday and so far so good!

Handheld, D90 @ 35mm and f/2.5, 1/60 sec @ ISO 200. Manual Mode, ambient mixed incandescent and fluorescent light.

One of those days I will stop being lazy and get out the light box again.

Nice photos and great watch. I think your first photo is the best. The dial pops from nailing the focus and exposure.

Fantastic pics of one of my favorite watches!
I almost bought it couple months ago (I was little short with cash) and still regret it...

Congrats!

Thanks guys.
I am still in the honey moon phase and it has not left my wrist since last Monday when I bought it.
So far, I am still loving it and as expected, it is still dead on accurate.
If this think had a second hand, I would hate it with a passion. I just cannot deal with a ticking second hand!

That means a lot coming from you.
Like I said before, it was you that made me start taking pictures.

One of those days I'll stop being lazy and I will use a light box and macro lens again.

It's been a good two years since I've taken a pic that was not hand held and point and shoot.

Icon14 Aerospace Beauty!!

Hi, Chip. Beside the elegant composition, I especially like the 2nd shot because of the dial angle with respect to the camera. Further, the shading of the shot graduates darker on the dial toward the white piano keys which really accentuates the composition so well IMO. Thank you so much for sharing.
Best,
Ron

not sure I mentioned this... but I had an opportunity in mid April to trade the Aerospace plus cash for a clean Sub LV for a really good overall price.

I did the trade but now I miss the Aerospace terribly!
