You need to calm down with these posts. This is the third time in a week I've read an interesting thread on TRF only to see your insulting remarks on the thread, and I am not the first member to have a problem with it.

I love my cat, but I never have to worry about dust mites or skin cells....not even a chance to collect at my house.....I even put a waterproof matress pad on the bed......

I didn't think this was any worse than eating spiders....:) Anyone want a cat? He is pretty cute...but by my estimates, he is 10 and I might be stuck another 6 to 8 years...

PS, $300 vet visit and dirty bedspread later....there is absolutely nothing wrong with him!
What is that little furry creature your cat is looking at?

Dont know if I should laugh or feel sorry for him sleeping on the couch in the basement. I suppose he has been a bad boy and he is been punished!

Too funny. Obviously kitty rules the house. And, of course, you adore Mr. Cat (otherwise you wouldn't take him to the doc)

This bed thing creeps me out. We wash sheets like every three weeks. Now to be fair, I do take a shower every night before bed. Of course, I'm going to switch to the once a week plan now. And we would usually only wash the sheets when our seven year old's boogers starting piling up so much it feels like someone was eating Ritz crackers in the bed. Yeah - just try and get that visual out of your head.

Nah - he has his computer, TV, guitars and other toys down there. It's a total man-cave and he hangs out there most every evening. A few years ago he started falling asleep on his couch in front of the TV, and he'd stay asleep later and later, and eventually he was spending the whole night there. And - he doesn't have to listen to me gripe about his snoring.

Im jealous! You get the bed sheet covers all to yourself and have a snore free enviroment while he gets to play with his toys in his man-cave without annoying anyone. Awesome!

I ain't reading that, like I ain't reading what goes into McD's beef patties.

I scrape the sheets every couple of months. Should I change it to every month?

She is cute, but she isn't soft. Those are quills, but they are lying down so they give an appearance of fur. Unfortunately, she had oral bone cancer and I had to put her to sleep last winter. She was 5 years old which is about their lifespan.

Sorry to hear this. How did she and your cat get along?

Lisa, the cat's were curious but afraid. She packed some sharp quills and they have nasty, pointy little teeth.
