US markets lost over 500 points just today and with the steady decline in the past 2 weeks has LOST every single gain for 2011 YTD.
My bank was seized by the Federal Reserve last time and forced me into early retirement and now my "nestegg" is tanking again.
Really scary stuff going on.

Definitely a scary time. The economy is in bad shape globally which makes matter worse. I just hope that my wife and I continue to stay employed! If you lose your job now it seems as though it is next to impossible to find another one. I feel so sorry for all the hard working people out there that were laid off and cannot find work when they are willing to do just about anything. Sad situation all around.

Don't worry.......that preacher/minister in Oakland, Calif. says the "rapture", end of the world as we know it, etc., etc. will happen Oct. 21st........so my advice is to have a big blow-out....party like it's 1999!
The end is near brothers & sisters......time to party & get down with your bad self.

I don't mind if it is a BIG BLAST, end of the world, everyone's gone

I just hate being unemployed for months and months and get depressed

That's what I really worry about
