A brief introduction...

Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste...(well maybe not the wealth part);
regardless, I thought I would post a couple of pics of two inheritance pieces and see what additional info the forum experts can pass along...

1675, 1.31xxxx, circa mid 1960's?, watch has been serviced and the original hands replaced (I still have them), the bezel? and of course the bracelet replaced (I have the old bracelet as well).

5513, 5.71xxxx, circa late 1970's?, watch has been completely serviced by Rolex (I have the service box, receipt and associated papers) as well as the original dial.

I'm not sure what else to make of these, feel free to add your comments and insightful thoughts.

Thanks in advance for you time and courtesy,
regards
Mark

2 Great Rolex watches. I personally like the later 5513 dials with the wg surround. All you need now is a 1016

What is the story behind the inheritance?

Welcome to TRF Mark. Nice pair of watches, the dial is replaced on the 1675, if you ever resell either, be sure to include the original parts, as collectors prefer to have an all original piece.

Welcome to the forum.

Interesting though, the first picture of the watches is off by 4 minutes correlating with the time on the pictures. But then the 3rd picture is only off by 1 minute.

Just an observation.

Otherwise, very nice watches, I'm jealous.

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the warm welcome and extended insight on these two pieces.
Both pieces belonged to my father and I'll continue to hang onto them for now in his memory.
best regards,
Mark
