That WG sub is the nuts..
Love everything about it , feels so good on the wrist.
Would trade my Daytona in a heartbeat for it [and some cash]
Found one for £11,900 used bot with all papers etc, got to be worth a look??

The blue dial and bezel are weird, they can change from a light sky blue (as per Ken's photos) down to a dark navy blue in other less intense lighting conditions.

Pretty cool dial and bezel insert.

I went to the AD and it was indeed heavy, as was the all gold version. Very nice watches. Also, putting the ss, next to the all whte gold there wa a noticable difference in the brushed links. Not a lot but noticable.

The brushed WG somehow looks more subdued than the brushed SS.

I don't know what it is, the WG just looks a little more dull in appearance than the SS I don't know quite how to describe it.

Your right. As I put them next to each other I did notice that too. Next time I'm there I have to take a pic. It would be a nice comparison shot, unless someone on the forum could show us. The dulling maybe s due to the platinum? Because I've seen some really shiny 18k W/G. Maybe Rolex just over polish the SS.

AGREED! Those blue hue's, that ceramic bezel in the blue is just STUNNING, dial too...

I can't afford the WG piece now (I suppose if I sold my DSSD, Sub C and GMT II C) I could, but i'm not willing to part with 3 beautiful piece's for one outstanding one..

Blah :(

Beautiful pic's guy's, i'm tempted to get the TT blue c (but in my heart) I know it's only because the WG piece is out of my range for now, and well, could never replace it.. (guess i've never had a TT watch as well, so i'm itching for one ha)

I first saw the WG Sub at an AD in St. Tropez when I made the fatal mistake of trying it on ......and, needless to say.... the seed was sown.......

A few weeks later, despite my more sensible self saying not to, it was on my wrist.......

But I have never looked back and absolutely relish wearing it. Looks great with a suit or with jeans and the blue dial gets far more comments than all of my other watches put together....... of which there are quite a few

too many urges & a forthcoming phone call from the AD for a Pam 382 (with luck) comes first

Had to jump in the thread as I have become a member of the WG Smurf Club.

The watch is heavy but after a while you don't notice it as much. It is very unique and I love having something many don't have. I have only worn it going out but will increase it's wrist time in the near future.
