That's right, Adrian, these guys burst my bubble. I was going to wish them tonight (as it is now 4th morning here in Auckland), but looks like someone's jumped the gun.

Anyway, here's wishing all my fellow American friends a great weekend and a very happy American Independence Day.

Cheers - JJ

It's just Daren again, trying to one up you, JJ.

But, yes, Happy July 4th to all our fellow Yanks, both here and abroad. We will be doing the quintisential American thing on the 4th - going to a baseball game. What better way to spend the holiday!!

That's good, too, Rob.
But we didn't have a grill at the hotel where we were staying, so going to the b-ball game was the next best thing.

We went to the Giants-Cincinnatti game. It turned into a real pitchers duel. Each team must have gone through at least 5 pitchers (I stopped counting after about the 4th each). Final score: CIN 11, SFG 10. The Giants seem to have a knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

And got sunburned, too, sitting in the bleachers.
