Gift from the Minister

The Minister of Foreign Affairs gave me this today. That's a cabinet level position here. So not only did I get my "Russian" watch, it has meaning and was a gift!

The back says something about being waterproof. The directions are all in Russian. The name of the watch in Cyrillic looks like BOCTOK.

Waterproof Russia? It needs to be Vodka-proofed! And yes everyone knows me as "The man with the Golden Rolex." I amnot a watch snob and can appreciate a Timex ans Casio just the same in their own right. This watch is not a Rolex by any means, but like my other watches, it is the thought, and story, that counts to me. It is nicer than any watch I could have bought because it was a gift!
