An early Christmas present to myself....

I was able to get my grubby little paws on this outstanding example of Germanic engineering yesterday....

I am a lover of flat twins (both my bikes are Boxer engines) but the sound of that flat six, under load, is simply superb.

The trick now will to be keeping it in the garage and off the road until next spring......doubtfull.

Thank you very much for all the kind comments guys.

The car is a 2s Tip with the Sports Chrono plus pack. I have really enjoyed learning how to handle / drive the thing these past few days, when also treating it with the respect it demands. I am amazed how easy it is to drive in all situations; where commuting in town or blasting around the Scottish highlands. Sheer bliss!

Do you like this dial?

This happened the other day, and although it's a bit OCD, I couldn't resist the symmetry!
