My wife has several, but two main wearers.

Her 20 year old daily beater, and a nicer sparklier one for nights out.

She wears a two tone ladies oyster (no-date) with a jubilee bracelet.

The stem looks long but apparently the original stems were short and had a tendency to leak.
I had the stem replaced, dial replaced, bracelet replaced and service done by the AD in Bahrain for grand total of $1600. Close to a new watch I suppose. But she likes it.
I asked if the stem looked like it sticks out but the AD said it was fine, albeit ever so slightly noticeable. My wife doesn't notice it and you can't really see it when she's wearing it. At leaast it won't leak. Watch is circa 1990.

better not let my wife see that. She'd have a field day with me.

By the way, great collection Jason.

Thanks Lionel, each watch has a story behind it. Let's just say one was an expensive lesson.

Thanks Jason. We got it brand new this June but it turned out to be an F-series. Never knew what that meant, or even knew to check till only later when i joined this forum did i find out its almost 4 years old since production. Should have done some homework and found this forum first before the pruchase. Guess its been sitting around somewhere for a bit.

Anyways, she's really so happy and proud of it and really takes care of it (hence the stickers still on ) and very seldom wears it, which is something I cant comprehend. But as long as she's happy......

Here is one of my better half's watches. I have offered a Rolex, but she has refused. I think she is just being coy! She wanted this Seiko as it matches a white dialed Seiko Chrono I have. Gotta love those girls from the country!

My mom's late 70's datejust

My wifes late 70's datejust

JJ,

I was a function on Friday and spotted a very rare tt white dial ladies yachtmaster on a ladies wrist. I approached her and her husband and I talked Rolex's for a hour. He wore a 20 year old 16610. That is a very uncommon yachtie. She said she bought in the Carribean 2 years ago. I saw a guy wearing a tt white dial yachtie the day I traded up for my wifes DJ.
