That strap is just perfect for that piece, I've never owned that model personally, but would love to take the plunge one day!

Here are some pics of the real vintage egiziano's with OEM straps.. When I had this strap made, I gave many references so the strap could be as exact as possible. the GPF buckle on this one I actually had to provide as the strap makers flat buckles were not correct to the original vintage. So the buckle you see on this strap is actually a real vintage gpf panerai buckle in stainless steel (they only made them in steel back then) it came off of an old panerai compass strap that was destroyed..
